  System and School Improvement

Office of System and School Improvement believes every student has the right to attend an excellent school and receive an exceptional education. Our goal is to raise student achievement, eliminate opportunity gaps, and get students to graduation with equality in outcome.

We offer differentiated accountability and support for Priority and Focus schools identified with a methodology using Federal Guidance and the State Board of Education's Achievement Index.

Our Services, Supports, and Resources

Instructional Services and Supports in ELL, Math, Reading/Language Arts, PBIS, and Special Education that directly support the implementation of a school’s Action Plan.

System and School Improvement Action Planning Handbooks for school teams and districts to increase educator capacity, improve student achievement, and use of the Indistar® action planning tool to assess, create, and monitor their District and School Action Plans in Indistar®.

Indistar online action planning tool information, access, resources, and technical support.

School Improvement Grants (SIG) to provide resources to raise student achievement.

Required Action Districts (RAD) supports and services to raise student achievement levels in our lowest achieving schools.

Trainings, Presentations, and Webinars to guide and support your work in the field.
