Integrated Environmental and Sustainability K–12 Learning Standards
Published September 2009 (Updated 2014)
These standards describe what all students should know and be able to do in the area of Environmental and Sustainability Education. Consistent with the intent of the law governing environmental education in Washington state (WAC 392-410-115), these standards are intended to be integrated into core content areas and across all grade levels. The Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Standards were updated to reflect the adoption of new science, ELA and Math Standards.
